Some things to keep in mind before emailing him:
• Before forwarding him a request or press release, please verify that the subject matter is similar to something he’s previously written, as the likelihood of his interest in your client will increase if it actually falls in the realms of his work (books, music, and pop culture).
• For advanced copies of books, he typically only accepts physical copies.
• For music, he only reviews full-length albums or EPs that he finds of interest. Please do not send him requests for features on singles or music videos.
• Due to the high volume of review requests that often land in his inbox, as well as other work commitments, he may take some time to respond and may only respond to requests in which he is interested and/or has the time to take on at that moment.
